Investment Club stock trade

Investors,

I can't remember the last time I "traded" a stock, but I just placed a trade order this morning. We've made more than 13% on our Wal Mart stock, including dividends, and it's the only DOW stock that didn't end 2008 lower than it began.

General Electric, a business we don't own, has been royally hammered this year. It's a great business, with great leadership, trading at a PE of 6.62, with a current dividend yield of 10.2%.

You can see the one year stock performances of each respective company by clicking here: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?t=1y&s=GE&l=on&z=m&q=l&c=wmt

You can see that GE has dropped nearly 65%.

I placed an order to buy 700 shares of GE, and to sell 200 shares of WalMart (slightly more than half our WalMart holdings).

You can read this, and the other recent letters I've sent, at http://buffettsbedandbreakfast.blogspot.com/
